Smell description:it did arrive with a musky warehouse smell. it washed out. 
Fabric material:good material for the price. I washed it and all the embellishments stayed on. (hung dry)
Fit:runs really big, but the body suit below fits perfect. I ordered an XS. I pinned at the navel and wore stickies. the sleeves run VERY long, past your hands FYI.  but overall, received at least 20 compliments at the event! paired it with black leather pants.
